Disney questions you would love to answer!

This is a open questionnaire for disney lovers. I have answered them first, because….why not!

Haha

So I’d be really happy if you would answer this on your blog.

I am not nominating anyone because idk who all are Disney fans.. but if you are a true fan do answer this and let me know in the comments! ❤️

1. Which Disney Princess story can you relate with the most?

Rupanzel. Idk, most of the times I feel I don’t get as much freedom as I want. Of course, my parents and everyone tries to do the best they can. This is… Just what I feel. And of course I have sooo many dreams!

2. Which Disney song encourages you?

There are many. But “dream is a wish your heart makes” is my all time favourite! It lifts me up when I hit the ground. Gently encourages me to dream and reminds me things will be alright.

3. Which Disney dialogue would you dedicate to your crush/love? (Even from non animated Disney movies)

John Smith: I’d rather die tomorrow than live a hundred years without knowing you

Pocahontas: I can’t leave you
John Smith: You never will, no matter what happens to me, I’ll always be with you, forever.

4. Which Disney song reminds you of your first love?

Undoubtedly…. Can I have this dance? Wow! What a lovely song!

5. If you could be any Disney villan who would you be?

Mal definitely! From descendents. Or even Maleficent is okay…

6. Which romantic disney scene you’d like to recreate with your love? (Disney princess movies only)

Let’s just consider Anna as a Disney Princess.. Oh come on.. she is the queen now. The one where she gives Kristoff the new sledge. That’s really cute!

Or the ballroom dance from Beauty and the Beast. Damn! I love that ballroom.. 💕

7. What is the best advice/ line from Disney movie for you?

Tbh every disney movie teaches you something wonderful. But now depending on my mood.. the line from Toy Story 4 where Forky says “I’m Bonnie’s trash!” Haha… That was funny. But it just reminded me that no matter how broken, flawed we are, some people love us unconditionally because we are theirs…

8. Which Disney character makes you smile? ALWAYS?

Okay… Let me admit. I even inserted this question in the first place because I wanted to talk about Mickey! Oh come on he deserves appreciation. Isn’t he the cutest! 😍 And yes… He always makes me smile!

9. Name 3 disney characters you’d like to be. I know you can’t, but we can imagine.

Olaf

Mickey

Rapunzel

10. Which Disney pet you’d like to have?

Not pet as such…. But I would definitely loveeeee to have Olaf!

Don’t forget to mention in comments I would love to check out your answers.

Calling #disneylovers 💖🌠

Woman work

I’ve got the children to tend
The clothes to mend
The floor to mop
The food to shop
Then the chicken to fry
The baby to dry
I got company to feed
The garden to weed
I’ve got shirts to press
The tots to dress
The cane to be cut
I gotta clean up this hut
Then see about the sick
And the cotton to pick.

Shine on me, sunshine
Rain on me, rain
Fall softly, dewdrops
And cool my brow again.

Storm, blow me from here
With your fiercest wind
Let me float across the sky
‘Til I can rest again.

Fall gently, snowflakes
Cover me with white
Cold icy kisses and
Let me rest tonight.

Sun, rain, curving sky
Mountain, oceans, leaf and stone
Star shine, moon glow
You’re all that I can call my own.

– Maya Angelou

Love this poem! ❤️ Hats off to all the woman who work very hard and manage home and work very well. I’d like to dedicate this to my mother as a thank you for countless sacrifices she’s done for me. For all the unconditional love she has given me❤️

And for all the mothers out there who continually struggle every day to make you happy. Sending lots of love and hugs❤️❤️❤️❤️

Other people

Think of a time you were happiest.

Maybe when your crush said yes to you, maybe when you won something you’ve worked hard for and celebrated with your friends and family, maybe on your family trip to Kulu-Manali last year…….

Did you notice one common factor in all these incidents? You were surrounded by people. Your loved ones. People who care for you, people who matter to you. Winning maybe not the ultimate joy or something really memorable, but sharing that win with your family and friends is really something that touches your heart.

Do you remember the last time you brought the cool watch, latest mobile phone, brand new car?

Maybe it failed to make you happy in the long run and you still rate this happiness after rating happy moments with your family and friends.

Remember the last time you did something good for someone.. how did it feel?

I know it must’ve felt awesome!

Researchers did a small study to test this. They made two groups of participants.

They gave 20$ to each participant and for one group they told to spend the money on themselves. To other group they told to spend money on doing something good for others. Maybe giving treat to a friend or buying something nice for your younger sibling.

The second group reported more happiness and satisfaction as compared to first group. Spending money on others does make you happier.

Maybe that’s the reason rich people tend to donate so much amount in charity. It helps others as well as makes them happy too.

Scientists have found that doing a kindness produces the single most reliable momentary increase in well-being of any exercise we’ve tested.- Martin Seligman

You see… People matter. Making them happy matters. Cultivating good positive relationships matters. That’s the only factor that would make us happier in the long run.

And not just for happiness. Even when you are at your lowest, what helped you heal?

Maybe your partner, your parents, your siblings or maybe you wanted to get better and improve just for these people. These people who mean the world to you.

We should try to stop being mean and ridiculing others just so we could justify ourselves. Stop pulling people down just because it makes you feel better about yourselves. Even if it does for a while, it’s shallow.

Real happiness lies being with people you love and having good quality relationships in your life.

Anjali-Rahul obsession

hum ek baar jeete hain, ek baar marte hain, shaadi bhi ek baar hoti hain… aur pyaar bhi ek hi baar hota hain 🥺❤️

And I am deeply in love with Rahul and Anjali ❤️❤️❤️❤️

They are undoubtedly the cutest onscreen couple I’ve ever seen.. and I’d die to recreate many scenes from their movies in my own life.I remember having crush on Shahrukh Khan early on in my life. He was my first crush. My mom tells me even as a little girl I used to jump with joy watching Sharukh on TV. I enjoyed watching his songs and later his movies.Yeah I know life is not a Karan Johar movie… But I cannot resist appreciating the beauty shown in those movies ❤️

I still remember that “tussi bade majakiya ho” scene from kabhi khusi kabhi gam.. and I loveeee Kajol’s acting. She’s undoubtedly the sweetest! And the way Shahrukh says many things just by the look in his eyes… makes my heart melt. Every. Single. Time.

Dosti ke alava bhi kuch rishtey hote hai … kuch rishtey joh hum samajhte nahi … kuch rishtey joh hum samajhna nahi chahte … kuch rishtey jinka koi naam nahi hota, sirf ehsaas hota hai … kuch rishtey jinki koi deewar nahi hoti, sarhad nahi hoti … aaise rishtey joh dil ke rishtey hote hai, pyar ke rishtey hote hai, mohabbat ke rishtey hote hai

Hayyyee!! The way Shahrukh says this to Kajol, looking into her eyes.. ❤️

Rahul and Anjali from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai are justttt adorable. It shows the transition of friendship to love (which happens almost always) but how the situations turn out to be and they get seperated.

tum paas aaye.. yun muskuraye.. tumne na jane kya sapne dikhaye… Ab toh mera dil.. jaage Na sota hain.. kya karu haaye.. kuch kuch hota hain”

I still feel nostalgic whenever I hear this song.

When I watch those movies now I literally react as if I am standing there in front of them and I just want to tell what’s going to happen and pass comments like you do while watching cricket match. And on some scenes I do react as if I’m Kajol and SRK is saying those lines to me… Sounds cheesy I knowww.. But for those who don’t like this cheesy stuff – kuch kuch hota hain.. tum nahi samjhoge 😌

I know movies are lot like fantasies and things are not so perfect in reality. But that’s okay, I don’t have unrealistic expectations from my life and I understand situations get complicated. But whenever I watch those movies I like to loose myself in their world and escape reality for a while…..So we can say this is just a harmless genuine obsession!

40 rules of love

I am getting more and more interested in spirituality these days. When you start thinking about “whys and hows” in life, when you get curious about how it all works, you find yourself getting attracted to spirituality.

And as you read more n more about spirituality you get your answers and learn the right way to think about certain things..

To be honest with you guys, I never really thought I would ever be so much interested in spirituality. I have always been the girl who believes in science and ‘the things she sees’. So being interested in spirituality, something you can only experience by feeling and believing was new and to be honest scary for me.

There are still some concepts in spirituality that I cannot find the right way to implement in today’s world. Some concepts do seem good in theory but don’t seem logical in practice. I know I still have a long way to go.

But you know what, I’m liking it. I am enjoying the journey of figuring out all this spiritual stuff and exploring a new world with different experiences.

Somehow, spiritual talk feels right..

Okay so I don’t want to sound boring right now. I just want to share with you guys 6 nuggets of wisdom I gained from the book 40 rules of love by Elif Shafak.

Destiny doesn’t mean that your life has been predetermined. Therefore, to leave everything to fate and to not actively contribute to the music of the universe is a sign of sheer ignorance. Your destiny is the level where you will play your tune. You might not change your instrument, but how well you play is in your hands.

– Elif Shafak, The forty rules of love

If you want to strengthen your faith you will need to soften inside. For your faith to be rock solid, your heart needs to be as soft as feather. Through illness, accident, loss or fright, one way or the another, we all are faced with incidents that teach us to become less selfish and judgmental and more compassionate and generous. Yet some of us learn the lesson and become milder, while others end up becoming harsher than before. The only way to get close to Truth is to expand your heart so that it will encompass all humanity and still have room for more Love.

– Elif Shafak, The forty rules of love.

The past is an interpretation. The future is an illusion. The world does not move through time as if it were a straight line, proceeding from past to future. Instead time moves through and within us, in endless spirals. Eternity does not mean infinite time, but simply timeless. If you want to experience eternal illumination, put past and future out of your mind and live within the present moment.

– Elif Shafak, The forty rules of love

How we see God is a direct reflection of how we see ourselves. If God brings to mind mostly fear and blame, it means there is far too much fear and blame welled inside us. If we see God as full of love and compassion, so are we.

– Elif Shafak, The forty rules of love

Patience means to be farsighted enough to trust the end result of a process. It means to look at the thorn and see the rose, to look at the night and see the dawn. Impatience is to be so short-sighted as to not be able to see the outcome. The lovers of God never run out of patience for they know time is needed for crescent moon to become full.

– Elif Shafak, The forty rules of love

The quest for love changes us. There is no seeker among those who search for Love who hasn’t matured on the way. The moment you start seeking Love, you start to change within and without.

– Elif Shafak, The forty rules of love

If you have time, I do encourage you to read 40 rules of love. It’s a wonderful book. Even if you’re not so much into spirituality, you will enjoy the stories. I especially love the way it’s written from different character’s perspective. A good read overall.

Hope you’re all doing well. Take care friends, stay safe! ❤️
